Introducing my new toy! I can't wait to start using these babies as I've heard so many great things about them all over the blogosphere and all the knitting forums. However, I'd always assumed that I would never so much as get to fondle any as Knit Picks refuse to ship to the UK (bad move on the part of Knit Picks me thinks).
However...thanks to a fabulous UK Ebay seller and blogger, I'm now the proud owner of my own set of sheeny shiney, sleek and pointy lovelies!!!

Exciting stuff in the mail
An exciting parcel arrived today from Webs. What wasn't so thrilling was that UK Customs decided to sting me for £31 before they would hand over my parcel. And here was me thinking how clever I'd been by taking advantage of the £ to $ exchange rate but it's worked out that I've probably only saved around £5 by buying from the US. Whoopdee doo!! This yarn is for the Bobbles, Bobbles Everywhere Noni Bag.
Summer's on the way
I've started planting up all my pots for Summer. Here are the first few but I've got loads more to do. They are Osteospurmums, Dwarf Carnations, Sweet Peas, Violas, Argyranthemum, Marguerite Daisy and a small Sedum. My lawn needs a bit of a feed too by looks of it!
