I've been thinking a lot about Winter woollies lately, and have commenced my cold weather knitting with a very nice hat. It's the Button-Tab Hat by Marcie Nishioka from the "I Like Lemons" Blog.

I used 50gms (107.5 yards) of Malabrigo Worsted in Lettuce and it only took me around 5 hours to knit. I'm hoping that I've enough yarn left from the skein to knock out a pair of wristwarmers to match. Any pattern suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

The lettuce hat is darling! The color of Malabrigo is smashing! (I'm trying to sound Brit-like, Ms. "Woolies"). I made so many pairs of wristwarmers last year for holiday gifts. I really like this pattern...click to download:

Love this hat. You are tempting me to give up on Koolhaas for my SIL which takes about an hour to knit one row!
